News broke a few days ago that Johnny Depp gets a luxury yacht from Battersea to work while filming the fourth instalment of Pirates Of The Caribbean in the UK, which begs the question dear Battersea people – how do you get to work from our lovely South London town? By train? By bus? By foot? By tube? If you do travel by the latter, beware the tube strikes!

The 24 hour strike beginning today is being staged as part of a protest against the plans to cut 800 ticket office jobs.

The RMT has warned that there will be at best, “a skeleton service with a very limited number of trains.”

Please check to see what lines will be affected as a result of the tube strike by clicking on the link.

Meanwhile, Johnny Depp has been travelling from Battersea to Greenwich for work.

"Johnny chose to charter a boat for the week because it's the easiest and quickest way to get there," a source told The Sun.

"He's been flying in from his home in France some mornings and hopping on the yacht at Battersea. He's been enjoying the views from the water."

The next film also stars Penelope Cruz – if you see either Depp or Cruz around Battersea, do post a picture on Battersea People!
