Some ideas so you can do Valentine’s Day the Battersea Way - on the 11th, 12th and 13th February 2011 Battersea Power Station will host The Secret Garden Party’s Lost Lovers Ball in its lovely ballroom. The Lost Lovers Ball is not for profit: the ticket cost will be used to fund fire shows, workshops, live bands, stages, actors, professors, cocktails; and for lovers marking Valentine’s Day a tad early - a fine dining restaurant. Thanks to Twitter, I know that Entrée Battersea has its Valentine’s Day plans sorted. They tweeted: “Hey Valentines Day! 3xCourses for £35pp with £1oysters, £5 martinis & £5 prosecco all night in the bar plus live jazz! - booking Now”

The lovely Thai On The River near Battersea Square is doing a three course meal and champagne reception for £24.95 for the lovebirds amongst you.

For a delightfully British Valentine’s Day experience, enjoy tasty food, both traditional and contemporary, from dear old Blighty at The Establishment this V day. You can get a three course meal for £30.

Spice up your Valentine’s Day with a meal at Battersea Rickshaw – with Lamb Seekh Kebab, crab cakes with mango chillie drizzle and my personal favourite, paneer, on the menu, what’s not to like?
