England vs Slovenia - 1 - 0 PHEW!

With a beer in my hand, England top on and plenty of

butterflies in my belly, I tuned into the England match at three on the dot.

 

I’m lucky it’s my gap year although I read somewhere that

about 60% of firms are allowing their employees to watch the match.

 

Was gutted that Joe Cole didn’t start the match but I reckon

I felt more sorry for Wayne Rooney. He needs to get onto that scoresheet and

quick!

 

So far, Argentina, Brazil or Spain have to be the most

impressive in this World Cup.

 

Am sad that there is no African representative as of yet, so

I’ll be supporting Ghana tonight!

 

Diego Forlan has been excellent for Uruguay, which I wasn’t

expecting, while Chile as a country have impressed me, which, again, I wasn't expecting.

 

Gosh, what are we gonna do when this World Cup is over?

 

Anywhere, where did you all watch the match? Was Battersea Rise

your area of choice, or were you nearer Battersea Square. And how far d’you

reckon we can go in this World Cup?

breaking down – not one to Twitter (tweet?) myself.
