So it's been a few days since we crashed out of the World Cup.

Many thanks to all the pubs and bars in Battersea that created a great atmosphere for watching the Lions in the World Cup. The competition isn't over yet though - it's that time when England fans inevitably pick a second team.

Brazil are currently the favourites for the tournament with William Hill putting them at 5/2. Not much of a surprise if you've been watching them play - both their defence and attack are impenetrable.

Meanwhile, Spain's David Villa is tipped to be the top scorer of the competition. (And we had so many hopes for Wayne Rooney.)

Check out William Hill's website to make a bet, or head to the William Hill on 146 Battersea High Street, Battersea, London, SW11 3JR

I saw a few sickened expressions on the faces of those commuters reading about footballers' wages in this morning's newspapers while whizzing through Clapham Junction on the way to work.

If you've lost interest in the World Cup now that England are out, why not occupy yourself with some Battersea-related fun - planning a Big Lunch for July 18th, jogging in the park or writing a post/joining www.batterseapeople.co.uk!
