The average Wandsworth man smokes 18 cigarettes a day... from Saturday, October 1 it will be illegal to sell tobacco products from vending machines. It will also be against the law for the machines to display any tobacco advertisements or pictures of tobacco products. Thoughts?

Ooh, Wandsworth Borough Council just cleared up that shocking smoking stat they tweeted for us...

@BatterseaPeople we got it from the NHS Smokefree site. But apparently it refers to the average male smoker, not all male residents. Sorry for confusion.
