I would like to ask how long the scaffolding erected by Ultra scaffolding is going to be a blight on the A205 York Road in Battersea? I have spoken to Wansdworth Council who inform me that you would grant permission for scaffolding to be erected in a bus lane on a major route in and out of London.

Not only does this cause major congestion in both directions as it closes the bus lane but it also significantly increases pollution in a residential area at all times of the day.

If there was some kind of work taking place on the fascia of the building for which it has been erected it would lessen the feelings of frustration but absolutely no one is doing any work.

I believe its been there for six months. I have called Ultra on their advert banner on 07860 295693 but they have not come back to me.

Can you please investigate this as something of this nature causing such congestion should have a time restriction with penalties imposed if broken.
