Early signs of Christmas in Clapham Junction

So, I've been for a wander down the Northcote Road and seen a few signs that Christmas is upon us. Some beautiful Christmas decorations are already in the shops. All Good Gifts has some gorgeous reindeer and a cuddly Santa on show, but they told me they're waiting for Halloween to come to an end before going Christmas crazy.

Slightly further towards Clapham Junction station, Debenhams is already a veritable Christmas fiesta. As you get up the escalator, letters spelling CHRISTMAS are before you in giant print and there's a whole load of wrapping paper and Christmas sweeties lining the shelves.

From boutique All Good Gifts to high street store Debenhams and now on to upper-end vintage creations - W&W Jewellers are transforming their Battersea studio at 19 Webbs road into a Christmas Pop-Up shop from Monday 28th November to Friday 23rd December stocking jewellery by Laura Gravestock. The W&W Pop Up will open its doors over that time from 10am to 6pm, and Saturdays from 10am to 4pm.  The W&W team will continue to offer their usual by appointment only bespoke services during this period.

W&W Director, Simon Warrender comments: "In addition to our bespoke service, we were keen to provide an opportunity for visitors to view a selection of beautiful jewellery that is available to purchase in a relaxed atmosphere for a limited time period."

Laura Gravestock's work is inspired by light playing on intricate latticework that surrounded her, growing up amongst the diverse architecture and cultures of the Middle East and rural Spain.  A passion for precious gemstones draws extra colour and richness into the designs.
