Battersea teen Christian Daniel Sartain-Clarke gets jail for his part in the Clapham Junction riot. His mum faces eviction from her council home for his actions.
18-year-old Christian Daniel Sartain-Clarke admitted burglary after he was caught in a Currys store room on the night of August 8th-9th 2011 when looting swept the capital.
He suffers from poor health and the judge said his actions were out of character: "You are a committed Christian with a capital C and a small C and an aid worker. I have reams of references attesting to you. You are a helper and a doer."
Wandsworth Council plan to interview Christian's mother Maite De La Calva about why she deserves to stay in her council home on Francis Chichester Way in Battersea.
Councillor Tony Belton is totally against evicting her. He said: "You can't evict someone who isn't involved at all in the proceedings."
She declined to comment when leaving court.
Two brothers in their thirties from Brixton Simon and Timothy Rodney, of Gosling Way and Clarewood Walk respectively, were given 20 months each for burglary - they were arrested on the same night as Christian.
